Adam Stewart, M.D.

Dr. Stewart, a board-certified ophthalmologist, is a native of Cleburne, leaving in 1999 to do his undergraduate work at Abilene Christian University. After graduating summa cum laude with a B.S. in Biology, he attended medical school at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock.

Dr. Stewart was trained at the highly esteemed Ophthalmology residency program at Scott and White in Temple, where he served as chief resident. Dr. Stewart holds the following professional memberships: American Academy of Ophthalmology, American Medical Association, Texas Medical Association, Christian Ophthalmology Society, Texas Ophthalmologic Association.

A comprehensive ophthalmologist, Dr. Stewart provides eye examinations as well as a full range of medical and surgical eye care including the diagnosis and treatment of cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, dry eye, floaters and flashes, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and various other eye disorders. He is also trained in laser vision correction.

Dr. Stewart enjoys spending time with his wife of 14 years and his four boys. Other interests include mountain biking, camping, and medical missions. An active member of the church, Dr. Stewart has participated in multiple Christian ophthalmology mission trips to Mexico, as well as to
Haiti.
